COVID-19 is a global pandemic that challenges all of us. As European manufacturer and part of the critical infrastructure we do our utmost to keep operations intact and provide access to our medical technologies. 

In February we implemented a group-wide Business Continuity Plan developed by our global response team to protect and support our employees, customers and partners.

In order to secure supply for our global customers in over 120 countries we have taken several measures to make our supply chain and manufacturing more resilient. We’re daily monitoring current anomalities in supply, logistics and demand. Inputs are being taken by our SCM task force to adjust our demand and scenario planning. For our critical functions and roles in manufacturing and logistics we have developed back-up plans, such as implementing a completely isolated shift system. Leveraging direct communication with all relevant interfaces is key in determine the signals we need to take the right actions.

By continuous exchange, we ensure the supply chain and availability of our products.


Altough personal contact is difficult these days, our sales representatives, area sales manager and customer service (both national and international) are committed to support customers and partners alike worldwide during this crisis. To relief the burden on the health professionals we suspended all commercial activities of our sales representatives. But of course our whole team is always available by phone and e-mail and is ready to help with advice and support. The best way to flatten the curve is to reduce social interactions. So already at the beginning of the crisis we implemented a two-shift modell for all our operative activities. Wherever possible our administrative departments are working remote. Furthermore we have also increased our internal hygiene standards and implemented a travel ban for all employees.
